Since the age of 3, dance has always been a key interest of mine.

My mum put me into Tap, Ballet and Modern classes and that’s where my love for dance started. After starting these classes I decided I wanted to also do Musical Theatre which I absolutely loved!

As I got older, I never gave up dance, I just kept on joining more and more classes, doing styles such as Contemporary, Street dance, Commercial and so much more.

As I was getting older, I worked through my ISTD grades in Ballet, Tap and Modern managing to complete every single grade in tap. Tap was always my favourite and my teacher saw potential, so she put me forward to audition for Tap Attack, who are a well-known tap company who offer elite training and compete internationally. I trained with Tap Attack for 2 years whilst also being in school full time and taking all of my other dance classes after school.

At the age of 16, I left Tap Attack, finished school and decided to attend Arts 1 School of Performance’s Sixth Form to study Dance and Musical Theatre. I trained there vocationally to set me up for university for 2 years and left with an extended BTEC Diploma in Dance Performance. It was thanks to this that I went on to acquire a place at Creative Academy - where I am currently working towards my BA (Hons) in Dance.

At Creative Academy we study a broad expanse of styles, so I am extremely fortunate to be very a versatile performer and have a well-rounded skillset. I’ve also been very fortunate to have been able to take on some amazing professional contracts.

I love passing on my knowledge and skills to a broad variety of students and hopefully inspire a new generation of young performers in the same way that I was inspired when I was younger.
