MISS TASH

I started dancing when I was 2 at Barbara Jackson’s Theatre Arts School, Blackpool studying ISTD Tap and Modern, RAD Ballet, Singing and Acting, completing all examinations through to Advanced 2 and Grade 8 LAMDA in all genres.

I took part in many festivals and competitions. I was also an associate at English National Ballet and performed in Swan Lake, Coppelia and Cinderella. As a young performer, I performed in many Pantomimes and shows such as AbbaDabbaDo at the Winter Gardens Opera House. At 16, I went to study at Italia Conti, graduating in 2012. I knew from a young age that teaching was my passion and life dream.

I have performed professionally in various shows on and off West End including Wild Cherries, Hairspray, Disney Dazzle, Sound of Music, A Dickensian Christmas and a number of Pantomimes. After completing training, I went to perform as a dancer in Cuba. I also performed as a dancer at Benidorm Palace, Spain. I was a back up vocalist for Pixie Lott and I featured on her album.

More recently, I have performed at Rugby League Final which was televised on BBC.

I have been in films such as Cuban Fury and Harry Potter as well as extras in The Bill, Heartbeat and Holby City and I have been featured in TV adverts.

I started my teaching journey at the age of 14 and has since taught at a number of Theatre Schools including Italia Conti, where I taught Layton Williams, as well as in schools where I was previously head of year 1 and head of Drama.

I believe in all students and to ensure I can pass on knowledge to everyone without boundaries, I have Level 3 British Sign Language qualification and Complete SEN Diploma Level 4 Qualification.

I teach a range of genres including Commercial, Contemporary, Tap, Modern, Ballet, Acro, Musical Theatre, Singing, Acting, Shakespeare, Verse and Prose, Speaking in Public, Devising Drama, Reading for Performances, Creative Movement. I have entered many students for examinations across different exam boards and I am proud to have 100% pass rate with most students gaining distinctions.

I hold membership status with ISTD, British Gymnastics, Trinity, LAMDA and New Era Academy. I am currently training to be a LAMDA examiner and studying at Linda Sweetzer Teaching Training College with the hope to gain my Licentiate Tap and Modern qualifications.
