For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved performing!

I knew I wanted to get into T.V and Theatre early on but there weren’t many choices of performing art schools in my area.My parents managed to find a class after school and took me along. It opened a whole new world for me, new friends, learning new skills and getting to perform in front of my family.

At the age of 11 my parents saw an advert for an acting agency in the local paper asking for kids with confidence and a bit of raw talent. They took me along and I was chosen, it changed my life! I went on to get the first three auditions I was sent for, including a lead part in the hit show Childrens Ward.

I moved on to a few commercials after that before landing a part in Brookside, but my big break came when I bagged the role of ‘Jambo’ in Hollyoaks for channel 4.

I’ve now played lead roles in a number of T.V shows such as ‘ Two Pints of Larger’, Casualty, ‘Broadchurch’ , ‘No Offence’ and most recently 'Mr Bates V's the Post Office name but a few. I’ve also managed to fit in a Musical called ‘Oh What A Night’ (where I met my wife) and a spot on Strictly Come Dancing!

I’ve been on T.V for over 30yrs and feel extremely lucky to have achieved my childhood dream. I’m so excited to see Mellor Theatre Arts come to life and look forward to discovering and nurturing the next generation. Who knows what the future holds? I can’t wait to find out!
